Laika Unveils Final Trailer For Latest Stop-Motion Fantasy Adventure ‘Wildwood’

UPDATED, 8:16 a.m.: Laika has unveiled a final trailer for Wildwood, its sixth stop-motion feature opening exclusively in theatres on October 23.

Tickets for the film, directed and produced by the studio’s Travis Knight, are on sale now.

Set to open AFI Fest on October 21, it follows headstrong teenager Prue McKeel (Peyton Elizabeth Lee), who after her baby brother is abducted by a murder of crows, launches a desperate rescue mission into the Impassable Wilderness — an enchanted forest hidden just beyond Portland, Oregon.

Fathom Entertainment is releasing the film in the U.S., with FilmNation Entertainment handling international sales. The film will be presented in select premium formats and experiences, including 4DX, DBOX and Dolby Cinema, where available.
