 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

October 22, 2026 – London – BBC Studios, CinemaLive and Fathom Entertainment have added encore screenings of the Doctor Who event in the UK, Ireland, US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The additional screenings will take place on Saturday 28 November.

Cineworld will also host an evening 4DX screening on Monday 23 November and Saturday 28 November at all 34 of its UK cinemas.

The Satan Pit Extended Cut brings together The Impossible Planet and The Satan Pit as a single feature film, with restored deleted scenes, extended footage and an exclusive interview with director James Strong.

Starring David Tennant as the Doctor and Billie Piper as Rose Tyler, the story sees the TARDIS land on Sanctuary Base 6, a remote outpost on a planet orbiting a black hole. As the base crew uncover something ancient beneath the surface, the Doctor and Rose are pulled into one of their darkest and most unforgettable adventures, facing the terrifying Ood and an evil older than time itself: the Beast.
