Critters rejoice! Fans of Critical Role, the popular Dungeons & Dragons-inspired role-playing group, will be able to catch rebroadcasts of four live shows on their 2025 world tour in 800 movie theaters in the U.S. and Canada.

The Critical Role live shows are coming to theaters under an exclusive pact with Fathom Entertainment, a distributor of specialty content to partner cinema chains. According to CR, it’s the company’s largest-ever theatrical distribution agreement. The four shows, part of Critical Role’s tour celebrating its 10-year anniversary, will be recorded in Sydney (June 19) and Melbourne (June 25), Australia; Indianapolis (Aug. 2); and New York (Oct. 7). They’ll hit theater screens shortly after the Critical Role shows have ended.

Ticket info and theater locations for the Critical Role rebroadcasts will be available starting Friday, May 16, on the Fathom Entertainment site (via this link).

Critical Role’s founders performing in the shows are veteran voice actors Matthew Mercer, Ashley Johnson, Marisha Ray, Taliesin Jaffe, Travis Willingham, Sam Riegel, Laura Bailey and Liam O’Brien. On their 2025 tour, each live show will be a standalone event featuring new stories set in the world of Critical Role’s Exandria, although the pair of Australian shows will have “some loose narrative connection,” according to the company.

“We’re incredibly excited to partner with Fathom to bring the rest of Critical Role’s 2025 live shows to big screens across the U.S. and Canada,” said Ben Van Der Fluit, SVP of business and content development at Critical Role. “These events are some of our most ambitious live productions to date, and now even more of our audience can experience the genuine energy, emotion, and camaraderie that plays out at the table.”

Fathom CEO Ray Nutt added, “Bringing loyal and passionate fanbases to theatres and providing a truly cinematic experience for premium entertainment live events has long been a hallmark of Fathom Entertainment. Fathom is thrilled to bring the live adventure, intrigue and entertainment of Critical Role to the big screen for four great nights to the benefit of its legions of fans with its largest theatrical footprint ever.”
