In 2025, audiences returned to The Wizarding World that defined a generation, rediscovered why Tobey Maguire is the true Spider-Man in the iconic Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy, gathered for stories of faith and inspiration, and confronted the raw terror that reshaped horror cinema. The year delivered unforgettable moments and reminded us why the big screen remains essential to storytelling. Together, we celebrated the power of shared experiences through films and theatrical experiences that brought audiences together in meaningful ways.

The year invited moviegoers to travel across genres and generations. Primitive War plunged audiences into a visceral survival story unlike anything before, while the enduring magic of Harry Potter proved that some worlds never lose their spell. Theatre lovers embraced the cinematic presentation of Merrily We Roll Along, capturing the joy and emotion of a landmark stage production for audiences far beyond Broadway. The Chosen: Last Supper continued to unite communities through faith-driven stories that sparked reflection and conversation. For horror fans, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre returned to theatres, reminding audiences of the unsettling power of a true classic, as intended on the big screen.

Fathom’s Big Screen Classics

Fathom’s Big Screen Classics showcased the enduring power of timeless films, bringing audiences back to theatres to experience unforgettable adventures and iconic performances as intended. In a year when nostalgia and communal moviegoing went hand in hand, these beloved titles reminded us why classic films continue to resonate across generations. Whether it was a first-time viewing or a long-awaited return, audiences showed up in force to celebrate stories that have left a lasting mark on cinema history.

The series kicked off with The Goonies, reigniting the thrill of childhood adventure on the big screen. Audiences laughed, quoted along, and rediscovered the joy of treasure hunts, secret passageways, and enduring friendships, while a new generation experienced the magic for the first time. That shared energy carried into One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, where viewers reengaged with its rebellious spirit, unforgettable performances, and powerful themes. Experiencing the film on the big screen deepened its emotional impact and sparked conversations long after the credits rolled.

Adventure returned in full force with Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, delivering sweeping action, heartfelt humor, and globe-trotting excitement. The film’s iconic score and daring set pieces reminded audiences why Indiana Jones remains one of cinema’s most enduring heroes.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary, Clueless brought sharp wit, iconic fashion, and nonstop quotes back to the big screen. The anniversary screenings turned theatres into lively celebrations, as fans revisited a pop culture touchstone, and new audiences discovered its lasting influence.

The series closed with Rocky IV: Rocky vs. Drago, transforming theatres into cheering arenas. The film’s larger-than-life spectacle, soundtrack, and emotional stakes captured the triumphant spirit that has made Rocky a sports cinema classic for generations.

In addition, standalone titles such as This is Spinal Tap and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reminded viewers that cult favorites and pop culture classics still thrive on the big screen.

The highlight of our year was speaking to the late, great Rob Reiner in character as Marty DeBergi to promote This is Spinal Tap. He was delightful and as wonderful as ever to lend his time and will be greatly missed. Please check out our interview here:
